Focus Ten – Inspire Ignite’s Mindfulness Exercise

Focus Ten – Inspire Ignite’s Mindfulness Exercise

Mindfulness is a very simple form of meditation. Our Focus Ten mindfulness technique is adapted to meet the identified needs of the attendees we are working with, making it age/ability appropriate.

By starting each session with Focus Ten attendees are in a relaxed state of alertness with their minds focused on action and fixed on the session.
Mindfulness is about being constantly aware of your body, mind and surroundings without stressing yourself.

By practising and understanding how to control emotions and behaviour, people can choose to live life intentionally, acting with purpose to a goal, rather than mindlessly falling victim to whatever comes their way. It is about observation without criticism.
