Research showed that the most successful teams were made up of a diverse mix of behaviours; they had access to many different Team Roles.
One of the key things that managers need to address, is understanding and utilising the natural talents and motivations of their staff. They can do this by using their own gut feelings or they can do it in a more structured way by using Profiles like Belbin to identify these behavioural talents, preferences and motivations.
In this training, Inspireignite makes use of the Belbin Team Roles (for individual profiles there is a small extra cost) The Belbin Report that is produced will help pinpoint individual strengths to communicate and share with the rest of the team. This doesn’t mean that every team requires all the roles! Most people will have two or three Team Roles that they are most comfortable with.
Each Role has it’s strengths and weaknesses, and each has equal importance. However, not all are required at the same time – it is important to first look at the team objectives, and work out which tasks need to be undertaken.
The Belbin Individual reports provide a rich source of information and the deep insight managers need to get the best out of each person on their team. Inspireignite can:
