Lauren Hartley- Student Advisor
Over the last few years I have developed a keen interest in healthcare and Psychology, particularly in Mental Health. I am most interested in the well-being of children and adolescents and am looking to pursue a career in this field in due course. Having achieved twelve GCSE grade A-C qualifications.
I am now studying Maths, Psychology, Sport, and Health & Social Care with a view to entering further education to pursue a degree in Mental Health Nursing, ultimately specialising in child mental health.
Away from my studies I participate in several sporting activities. In school I have collected annual awards (ten in total) for football ability commitment and leadership, team award, effort and service to sport. I also achieved a leadership in sport qualification through the school. In 2015 my school team and I had the honour of playing at Wembley before the FA Cup final, losing out in the final to a superb team from Bristol.
I am a private maths tutor for two individual GCSE students who are now excelling in their subject. Our weekly sessions have helped to improve their abilities.
